Jim has been a chartered accountant for over 40 years. He specialises in working hand-in-hand with clients to deliver excellent advice on taxation and tax structuring.
Jim has a strong service ethic, and loves to see small businesses grow. He believes strongly that small business is the key driver of the South Australian economy, and he has great admiration for people who risk their financial security to ‘have a go’. He feels it is a privilege to be able to work with many great small business families to help them achieve their goals.
Over many years of professional experience, Jim has developed great listening skills, which are imperative to really getting to know his clients and understanding their needs. Jim’s clients come from a variety of industries, including transport, the health professions, primary production, the building industry and many others.
Jim utilises the most advanced technology available to measure his client’s financial performance, benchmark against KPIs, and work through strategies to improve performance on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Jim also oversees the Self-Managed Super Fund division within the firm, and thus has a strong emphasis on retirement and succession planning. As a result, he has assisted many clients with successfully negotiating the sales of their businesses.
Jim loves spending time with family, and enjoying the great things South Australia produces, including good food, wine, and Aussie Rules football.
